Helping you Achieve, Maintain & Prove Digital Compliance
Trying to understand the WCAG 2.0 Guidelines can be confusing, not to mention trying to figure out how they relate to the ADA, AODA, Section 508 and other compliance requirements. Putting the remediation into place to make your website accessible can get laborious as you try to weed through the requirements and implement the changes needed.
That's why we're here to help. The Bureau of Internet Accessibility (BoIA) has been helping eliminate the digital divide since 2001. We are true partners with our clients, working as the Accessibility and WCAG 2.0 expert on your team to assist you with reaching and maintaining website compliancy.
Where to start?
Start with a Free automated audit of your website. Your website will be tested using the WCAG 2.0 Success Criteria and graded using the four principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and Robust.
The automated scan is not a replacement for a compliance audit which includes testing by humans using assistive technology, but it provides a good starting point. Enter your website domain name below and then enter your contact information on the following page to receive the free WCAG 2.0 summary report.
WCAG 2.0 A/AA compliance audits
BoIA uses a combination of manual evaluation and automated testing for its Compliance audits. The BoIA team employs human testers for reviewing rendered Web pages under scenarios representing a variety of disabilities.
Many of our human testers are themselves persons with one or more impaired abilities. They test pages using assistive technology including JAWS, ZoomText and Keyboard-Only Navigation. Each issue that is identified is catalogued and reviewed by an Accessibility Expert and then given an HTML remediation suggestion by developers.
